IT Support & Development Engineer – New Open Position

Job description

CSCS is seeking a proactive candidate to join our IT support team. The position offers a wide range of technical challenges with a strong customer-oriented focus. In this role, you will be responsible of the following aspects:

  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of third-party products
  • Requirements gathering and solution co-design through close interactions with stakeholders
  • Software development and integration of business support systems
  • On-site IT support

Your profile

Expected qualifications:

  • BSc in Computer Science (or related fields), with relevant working experience
  • Familiarity with Linux environments
  • Software development and configuration experience
  • Pragmatic problem-solving attitude
  • Individual and teamwork skills
  • Communication skills in English (written and verbal)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience installing and configuring Atlassian products such as Confluence and Jira, or similar products
  • Hands-on experience with PHP, Python, Git, MySQL, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab pipelines, DevOps methodologies
  • Hands-on experience integrating services via REST APIs
