PASC22 Poster Exhibition Grand Opening, Last Call for Student Volunteers, and Early Registration Deadline Approaching

PASC22 Poster Exhibition: Grand Opening

We are excited to announce the Grand Opening of the PASC22 Poster Exhibition space. You are invited to visit the PASC22 Congress Center, meet 38 presenters at their stands, and explore their works. You may enter the exhibition space by clicking here.

Last Call for Student Volunteers

There are still a few places available for the PASC22 Student Volunteer Program, which provides students with free conference registration.

If you are an undergraduate, master’s or doctoral student in computational science or HPC and you enjoy working in a dynamic and enthusiastic team, don’t miss this chance to experience the conference as a volunteer, and meet with peers and professionals from various backgrounds.

Information on how to apply, and some impressions from volunteers who participated in previous years, are available here.

Application deadline: May 15, 2022

We look forward to receiving your application!

Early Registration Deadline Ending Soon

PASC22 is fast approaching and we invite you to register for the conference before the early registration deadline of May 15, 2022, and take advantage of these reduced rates!

We look forward to welcoming you in person to the picturesque city of Basel (or digitally if you are limited by travel restrictions or personal circumstances) for three days of stimulating technical sessions and networking opportunities. The full program of the conference is available here.

Networking Opportunities

After a two-year forced break, we are excited to gather in person with as many old and new friends as your personal and professional circumstances will allow. We have planned two optional evening events for further networking and socializing.

The dinner events will be held in two emblematic restaurants in the social scene of the Basel community. On Monday night we will be gathering at the traditional restaurant Schützenhaus built in the mid-1500, and on Tuesday night we will celebrate the reunion of our international and interdisciplinary HPC community with global delicacies enjoyed in the modern and convivial atmosphere of ZicZac Restaurant.

Information on the dinner events is available here.

If you have already registered for the conference and forgot to add the dinners as supplementary options, you can still do so by contacting the organizing team at info@pasc-conference.org.

Kindly note that a separate registration is required for these dinners, and that these options can be sold upon availability.

Accommodation in Basel

A room block for PASC22 attendees is available to support in-person participants in their search for a hotel room in Basel. Information on this opportunity and access to the booking portal is available here.

Baselcard: A personal guest card will be handed to you when you check in. The BaselCard includes free use of public transport, free surfing on the guest WiFi, as well as a 50% discount on admission to several Basel attractions such as museums, Basel Zoo and Theater Basel. It also offers discounts on guided tours through the historic city centre, a boat trip or ferry across the Rhine and much more.
