Book review: Konrad Zuse und die Schweiz – Wer hat den Computer erfunden?

Switzerland has a very long story related to computing: Z4, one of the first computers, has been installed at ETH Zurich by Konrad Zuse in 1950.

In the book “Konrad Zuse und die Schweiz – Wer hat den Computer erfunden?”, Herbert Bruderer describes the beginning of computing giving an overview of the the first computers from USA, Great Britain, Germany and Switzerland. In his book he introduces also the first computer science pioneers: Charles Babbage, Alan Turing,  John von Neumann and Konrad Zuse.

A chapter is dedicated to the question “Who invented the computer?”
