Insights and Exchange at the HPC-CH Forum on Financial Aspects of HPC

The HPC-CH Forum on the Financial Aspects of HPC, hosted by ZHAW Wädenswil on October 10, 2025, gathered about 50 participants from Swiss universities and research institutions. The forum featured engaging talks exploring the financial and operational dimensions of high-performance computing, sparking thoughtful discussions and Q&A after each presentation. Participants joined two guided tours (“Agricultural Photovoltaic (Agri PV) and Aquaponics” and “The Future of Food”) showcasing ZHAW’s innovative sustainability work.

A community development session concluded the day, where participants proposed topics on post-its and selected the next two forum themes: Improving Access to HPC (EPFL, May 7 2026) and User Workflows and Support (Agroscope, October 29 2026).

The evening before, a community dinner set the stage for a collaborative and engaging exchange.
