MeteoSwiss is the national weather and climate service for the Swiss public, for government, industry and science. With our public service we ensure the basic supply of weather and climate information in Switzerland and thereby make a substantial contribution to the well-being and the safety of the population. In the same way that the weather keeps changing, the conditions and needs of our clients are constantly evolving. As a dynamic enterprise MeteoSwiss responds promptly and flexibly to these changes. In our activities we are guided by the official performance mandate which is anchored in the Federal Law on Meteorology and Climatology.
