In a few hours SC11 will be history. With a record number of people registered for the Technical Program, a record number of industry and research exhibitors, and a record number of international attendees and exhibitors, the conference has been a great success.
After the conference is before the conference – It is now already time to think about the next supercomputing conference that will be ISC12 in Hamburg (June 17-21, 2012). We interviewed Prof. Hans W. Meuer who is the ISC General Chair about the upcoming event. In this video Prof. Meuer tells us about the beginning of both conferences (ISC is even older than SC) and gives us some highlights about ISC12. In addition we asked Prof. Meuer to comment about the last developments of HPC in Switzerland.
