The HPC Advisory Council in Lugano has been a great success. More than 100 participants cold follow the technical presentations and the hands-on tutorials. The HPC Advisory Council Switzerland Workshop 2010 started today in Lugano. With more than 110 registered persons this is the largest conference ever dedicated to HPC technologies in Swutzerland. Work has begun in Cornaredo to host the supercomputers of Swiss National Computing Center (CSCS), which in 2012 will move from Manno. The bulldozers are demolishing the old garage of Public Transport, north of the firehouse, and the construction work will begin this summer. Article on Corriere del Ticino »
