Since May 2010 Production Project Proposals for CSCS can be submitted at any time. The deadline for the next allocation period (April 1st, 2011) is December 1st, 2010.
There are only two allocation periods per year, that is on April 1st and October 1st. For the next allocation period starting on April 1st 2011 all projects must be submitted within December 1st, 2010.
The proposals of a previously successful production project is available as a template.
CSCS application analysts are willing to read a draft proposal if sent no later than 2 weeks before the deadline. This may help you to improve your proposal, however, acceptance is not guaranteed as the proposal still enters the regular review process.
