Cray XMT “Matterhorn” Up and Running at CSCS

CSCS is happy to announce that the next-generation Cray XMT has been delivered and assembled. During the acceptance tests CSCS were able to reproduce the numbers submitted to the Graph500 last month.

The Cray XMT supercomputer is named “Matterhorn” after the very famous Swiss  mountain and it is now ready to be used.
